Biodiversity at the brewery

Goal

For HEINEKEN Zoeterwoude, improving the living environment and strengthening biodiversity at and around the brewery is a major priority. Organising 35 hectares of the site in an ecologically sound manner resulted in a beautiful garden that benefits bees, butterflies, birds, employees and passers-by. This project therefore contributes to improving biodiversity in the region, and boosts the brewery’s climate resilience.
